What Our Clients Say

  • “Just wanted to share a little bit about Kimberlyn and Heath. It’s been a pleasure working with them. They always strive to achieve their goals for patients and really make the environment light up. They interact with all patients on every level, both physically and emotionally. They’re considerate, kind, and truthfully enjoyable to work with.”

  • “I had rotator cuff surgery and had to have physical therapy. Heath Mills and Kimberlyn Wilson were my therapists. I had heard how bad and painful this rotator cuff therapy was—others who had this surgery and therapy said they left with tears in their eyes. Heath asked me about 5-6 weeks into my treatment how I thought it was going. I told him I was hesitant to say it because of the stories others told about how painful the therapy was, but if the first four weeks were the hardest, then mine would be a piece of cake because my treatment hardly had any pain. They are concerned about your needs and how you feel and try to work around your schedule for therapy. If you had to ask me about physical therapists, I would recommend Heath and Kimberlyn.”

  • “I love the game of football and spring practice of 2021. I had a major injury to my ankle. I had tightrope surgery on my ankle and required physical therapy to get back to the game I love. Miss Kimberlyn worked with me for about three months to get me in the best shape possible. The respect I have for her is tough to sum up. She is truly amazing. Miss Kimberlyn is very knowledgeable about what she is doing. She knows your limits and how to push them but not too much that you reinjure yourself. She wants the best for you as an athlete. Because she wanted what was best for me and how much I wanted to get back to football, she took extra time to help me. She works hard to build you back up. She listens to you and how you are feeling on that particular day and works to give you new strategies that you may need for something else that might arise. Even now, I can always text her and ask her what exercises I need to do to help with anything that might be tight, sore, etc. Miss Kimberlyn is a nice, kind, and understanding Physical Therapist. She cares about her patients and has good relationships with them. I would put her up against all the PTs in Georgia, and she would come out on top. She is the best.”

  • “I would like to share a quick note to let you know how glad I am that I came to Heath Mills and Kimberlyn Wilson for physical therapy. I had a Total Knee Replacement and Manipulation surgery. Their experience and encouragement helped me deal with and recover from my surgeries. They were always professional and helpful. I was impressed with the care and dedication they showed their other patients and me. They are knowledgeable in their field and passionate about your recovery. My therapy is almost finished, and I can’t believe how far I have come. Heath and Kimberlyn had the difficult job of helping me get my bend and extension in my knee working again. My knee has improved with each visit. I received the best therapy and would return to them in a heartbeat! I am so happy they were my therapist. They helped me become me again. They love what they do, and it shows! I will be making referrals to them. I want to take this time to thank Heath and Kimberlyn for all they did for me, even when I was frustrated. Thanks again.”

  • It depends. Most insurances now follow “direct access” rules, allowing you to be seen in physical therapy without physician referral, however, there are still some that require referral before beginning therapy. If you would like more info or need to determine if you can see us without referral. Give us a call at (478) 550-3702.

  • Any orthopedic injury non-operative or post-operative (ankle sprain, total knee replacement, rotator cuff tendinitis, rotator cuff repair, etc), generalized weakness, balance, and gait difficulties. Find our list of services here.

  • Any sort of loose fitting clothing, athletic wear, tennis shoes that may be removed easily.

  • Typically initial evaluations last 1 hour, with follow ups lasting 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on injury.

  • Initially, you will be evaluated by a physical therapist. After they determine the proper treatments for your injury, you may receive a number of manual treatments (dry needling, soft tissue massage, cupping, mobilization or manipulation), as well as, exercise to maintain that manual treatment, and modalities (electrical stimulation, ultrasound, compression, ice, moist heat) to calm down pain and inflammation.
